The 2 articles "Next Generation Monetization: Supremacy Goods, Ramin Shokrizade" and "Video Game Monetization Strategies, Chris Cobb" talk about different monetization strategies. I have to make sure feels that the content that I am selling to the people is worth its price.  Things like downloadable content and other micro- transactions need to be structured in a way where the player feels like they are not being scammed.  For a fighting game, extra content like extra characters and season passes should be priced enough to feel reasonable all the while allowing the video game company to make a good amount of money from it. Examples like fortnite where they sell skins and battle passes have to use micro transaction as a means to make money so the price they put on these items using their in game currency should be enough that gives them profit and fits with the free to play game aspect.
